In 2021, the Kingdom issued a royal decree amending the Saudi Arabian nationality system to include new categories of expatriates. The executive regulations require several conditions for obtaining Saudi citizenship for expatriates, including: regular residence in the Kingdom for a period of no less than 10 consecutive years, proficiency in the Arabic language, good conduct and behavior, a clear criminal record, the ability to earn and support, and adaptation to Saudi society and Islamic culture [1].
Application method
Application is done through the Saudi Ministry of Interior.
