The Ministry of Interior revealed a new statistic for the “Absher” platform during the last April, recording more than 16 million electronic transactions through Absher services for individuals and businesses. The figure reflects the continued digital transformation in the Kingdom and the adoption of citizens and residents of electronic services.
Record numbers in transactions
The total operations carried out through the “Absher” platform in April 2026 reached around 16,536,826 transactions. The “Absher Individuals” platform accounted for the largest share with 13,973,584 transactions, while the “Absher Business” platform recorded around 2,563,242 transactions.
Most used services
General Administration of Traffic services topped the list of transactions with 3,307,760 transactions out of a total of 3,417,847 transactions for public security. In second place, the General Directorate of Passports recorded around 2,202,603 transactions, followed by the Ministry of Interior’s Agency for Civil Affairs with 576,236 transactions.
Digital documents wallet
The digital documents wallet in the Absher application witnessed a large turnout, with 3,609,072 document viewing operations performed. The service allows the display of national identity, residence, and driver’s license in digital form without the need to carry paper documents.
The platform also issued 158,075 reports through the “Absher Reports” service, and 2,248 inquiries about fingerprints. The unified digital identities enable beneficiaries to access government and private services through the National Access Gateway “Nafath”.
