Step 1: Idea & Market Research

Before starting, make sure your idea has a market. Ask yourself: Are people willing to pay for this service or product? Do simple research.

Step 2: Choose Your Business Activity

Your business activity determines the license you need. Activities are classified by the Ministry of Commerce.

Step 3: Commercial Register

The first official document. Apply via mc.gov.sa. You need: National ID, activity, address, and 200 SAR fee.

Step 4: Municipal License

Get a license from the municipality (Balady platform) confirming your office meets requirements.

Step 5: Chamber of Commerce

Register with the local Chamber of Commerce. Membership fee around 1,000 SAR.

Step 6: Business Bank Account

Open a bank account for your business.

Step 7: ZATCA Registration

Register for tax if your revenue exceeds 375,000 SAR yearly.

Step 8: Social Insurance (GOSI)

If hiring employees, register with GOSI.
