Car Ownership Transfer Conditions
- Both parties must have an active Absher account
- The vehicle must be registered in the seller’s name with a valid registration card (Istimara)
- The vehicle must have valid insurance in the buyer’s name
- No unpaid traffic violations on the vehicle
- If the car is older than 3 years, a valid periodic inspection certificate is required
- The vehicle price must be between 500 SAR and 1,000,000 SAR
- Residents can own a maximum of 2 private cars

- Log in to Absher (the seller) via absher.sa or the app
- Select “Vehicle Services” from the menu
- Choose “Transfer Vehicle Ownership” (Bai’ah)
- Select the vehicle from your vehicle list
- Enter the buyer’s national ID or iqama number
- Verify the information and confirm the process
- Pay the fees via Mada or SADAD
- Ownership is transferred instantly after payment confirmation
