A new global award added to the achievements of the Saudi health sector
The Ministry of Health, represented by its Medical Transportation Department, won the Sterling International Collaboration award for institutional excellence, based on the global Baldrige Excellence Framework standards, outperforming several leading international institutions and organizations.
This achievement comes as a culmination of the ongoing efforts made by the Ministry of Health to improve the quality of health services in the Kingdom, facilitate access to them for beneficiaries, and activate the principle of prevention before treatment, in order to achieve the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the main programs of Vision 2030.
Operational efficiency and regional leadership
The Ministry of Health’s win of this prestigious award reflects its operational efficiency in medical transportation services, and its distinction and leadership as the largest provider of health services in the region, through a team of national health cadres that put human health and safety first, in accordance with the directions of the systems and paths of the Saudi health care model.
This achievement is an extension of the Ministry of Health’s journey of institutional excellence, and a fruit of the continuous support of the wise leadership -may God bless it-, the clear strategic vision, the efforts of national competencies, and the Ministry of Health’s commitment to promoting a culture of institutional excellence and innovation.
20 health clusters in all regions
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Health is a national company that provides comprehensive and integrated health care through 20 health clusters, which aim to serve the population in various regions of the Kingdom, by applying the Saudi health care model that puts humans at the center of its attention, and contributes to facilitating access to care and improving the level of service quality, in order to achieve the goals of Vision 2030.
The Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince -may God protect them-, continues to achieve qualitative achievements in the health sector, as part of the comprehensive transformation journey that the country is witnessing, to consolidate the Kingdom’s international position as a comprehensive global health model.
